The dining experience at the resort was simply excellent. From delicious buffet breakfasts to exquisite multi-course dinners, every meal was a treat. The Swiss cuisine prepared by Chef Bruno was a highlight, and the cozy log building dining area offered picturesque views over the lake. I particularly enjoyed the three-course dinner with vegetarian options, showcasing the local ingredients. It was clear that a lot of care went into each dish served!

Cozy and Charming Cabins

Adventure Awaits!

The resort offered very nice outdoor activities! I went dogsledding and snowmobiling, both of which were led by knowledgeable guides. The experience was exhilarating, taking us through the beautiful winter landscapes. The guides' expertise made me feel safe and excited as we navigated through the snowy terrain. It was undoubtedly an lovely adventure!

Our stay at Southern Lakes Resort was truly a remarkable experience in the heart of the Yukon. The cabins were clean and comfortable, with stunning views of Tagish Lake and the Coast Mountains. The service provided by Craig and his team was exceptional as they catered to our every need, especially during our wedding celebration. However, we were a bit disappointed with the limited interaction with the Northern Lights due to cloudy weather. Overall, it's a beautiful, remote spot that provides great value for a memorable getaway.

We had an incredible experience at this resort, especially for our wedding celebration! The hospitality from Craig and his team made our special day perfect, and the beautiful cabins with stunning views added to the magic of the occasion. Although we faced extremely cold weather which limited our outdoor activities, the atmosphere inside was cozy and welcoming. One downside was the lack of a gym or other indoor activities for guests during chilly days, which would have made the stay even better.
