Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at Southern Lakes Resort was truly a remarkable experience in the heart of the Yukon. The cabins were clean and comfortable, with stunning views of Tagish Lake and the Coast Mountains. The service provided by Craig and his team was exceptional as they catered to our every need, especially during our wedding celebration. However, we were a bit disappointed with the limited interaction with the Northern Lights due to cloudy weather. Overall, it's a beautiful, remote spot that provides great value for a memorable getaway.
We had a remarkable stay surrounded by stunning scenery and the tranquility of the Yukon wilderness. The cabin we stayed in was both cozy and clean, providing a perfect retreat, while the dining experiences curated by Chef Bruno were simply gourmet. I was blown away by the breathtaking views from the restaurant, making every meal special. On the downside, the remoteness meant a bit of travel to reach nearby attractions, but the overall experience was certainly worth it.
Southern Lakes Resort offers an immaculate experience right on the shores of Lake Tagish. The cabins are warm and spacious, providing a cozy atmosphere for relaxation. The dining experience is top-notch with friendly service; however, the lack of kitchen supplies in the cabins and limited dining options nearby could be improved. The remote location requires navigating a rough road, which might not be ideal for everyone, but the stunning views and natural surroundings more than make up for it.
We had an incredible experience at this resort, especially for our wedding celebration! The hospitality from Craig and his team made our special day perfect, and the beautiful cabins with stunning views added to the magic of the occasion. Although we faced extremely cold weather which limited our outdoor activities, the atmosphere inside was cozy and welcoming. One downside was the lack of a gym or other indoor activities for guests during chilly days, which would have made the stay even better.
The resort provided an unforgettable experience in the remote Yukon, offering stunning views and clean, comfortable accommodations. While we couldn't see the Northern Lights due to cloud cover, the outdoor activities were enjoyable. The restaurant served fantastic meals, but a gym or relaxation area would be a nice addition for colder days.
